​As a part of the QFMA’s permanent quest to develop the rules and regulations relating to strengthening the legislative structure of financial markets, and enhancing the application of the best international standards and practices in the capital markets sector, the QFMA has joined with fixed memberships a number of international organizations and bodies in order to keep up with the latest developments in regulating financial markets and ensuring the application of the latest standards as well as reducing risk. The QFMA is also keen to represent the State and preserve its interests by participating in the vital topics and important decisions, and having a presence in several projects and committees at the regional and international organizations. ​​​​​
