Initial Public Offerings (IPOs)
Financial market is considered as the beating heart of modern economies. The primary market is the first step to build a strong and active securities market where issuers can offer securities for the first time for public and private offerings by investors.
The primary market is where new securities are offered, and it is known as “New Issue Market”, a market where new securities are issued by companies, institutions and legal entities in order to raise money for their financial needs. Thus, the primary market is considered as one of the most important sources of funding for institutions.
Issuers interested in IPO of securities should submit a formal request to the QFMA for approval after fulfilling all the requirements and undertaking all the necessary steps to complete the application according to the provisions of Offering & Listing of Securities Rulebook issued by the QFMA.
